This is certainly a bug.

(1) Email me ASAP when this happens: wst...@gmail.com, or email the
list.  It's useful if you tell me the project id, which is listed in
the upper right corner of project settings.

(2) You can try clicking the "Restart --> Project Server" button in
project settings, and see if that fixes things.

(3) Try refreshing the page and try again, and see if that helps.

That could be relevant.  It might also be that the default timeout
that I use to decide on success of opening a file is too small, given
your network connection.  What does the upper right corner of the
screen typically say for you?  For example, right now for me it says:
"websocket; 95ms".     I've done all my development and testing of the
Sagemath Cloud with a pretty fast internet connection, and may have
made some default timeout way to short somewhere.
