Sorry, I meant to say Sage version 5.4.1. In Sage 5.5 and the 5.6.5c1, I get 4 as the output. May be upgrade Sage? :) >
I just updated to 5.5, with the same result as you. So the OLD bug was replaced by a NEW bug, because the discriminant of f-t must have the root 0, so it cannot be a nonzero constant.
