Well, The binary that worked on both my netbook and desktop is the one
that has the name "*
sage-5.0.1-linux-64bit-ubuntu_10.04.3_lts-x86_64-Linux.tar.gz"*. It's all
the information i have about it. i downloaded the package may be two weeks
ago.

I just download it, untar at, say /home/sagemath, and then make a symbolic
link
$ ln -s /home/sage /home/sagemath/sage

All i do it's run the program by call
$ sage

and when i run the program with "-v" argument

$ sage -v

It said that was 5.0.1, but i don't remember the release date. That was the
last working version on my Debian, as i told, i downloaded the package two
weeks ago at most.
That's all the information i have, i still don't have installed that 5.0.1
binary, but i have it on my desktop, i could untar it and gather the
information that you ask me.

Thanks for your help!
