Hi!

Working on a very old bit-rotten patch of mine at #8992, the following
turns out to be a problem in one of the examples:

sage: P.<y> = QQ['x'][]
sage: y.divides(y)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
AttributeError                            Traceback (most recent call
last)
...
AttributeError:
'sage.rings.polynomial.polynomial_element.Polynomial_generic_dense'
object has no attribute 'quo_rem'

22 months ago, this has not been a problem for my original patch. So,
I wonder: Is it a new bug? Or has it actually never worked?
