just to be clear: you mean that the first two lines of Jason's code
can be deleted, the class Matrix2 would still work as such?

this reminds me that ages ago, you mentioned a book about Sage that
you were writing, and I agreed to translate it into French (remember?
someone else was in charge of spanish i think). Is this the one? (I
guess not, since you didn't ask me)

(gmail tells me we had this conversation in august 2009 !!!)
