Dear all,
since I upgraded from 4.6 to 4.7 (I also moved from a Mac to Ubuntu),
I cannot use a 1-D numpy array in list_plot any more. Is this
intended, or is it a bug? It breaks backwards compatibility and I
don't see the rationale behind it.
In searching the tickets for list_plot, I don't see any changes that
would break this. I don't see anything obvious in the code that would
break this either. Maybe something changed in numpy? Note that I am
looking at 4.7.3alpha3 or so.
I think we would welcome a patch if you can dig into this and figure out
why numpy arrays are causing a problem.
Thanks,
