Hi William, sage list.

thanks for this. I am used to linux (sage works fine for me
on Suse) but windows is new to me.

I have downloaded and installed VMWare Player (after a lengthy
registration process) and the "Welcome to VMWare Player" window is open.

Next problem. The readme says:

4. Double click on sage_vmx in the sage-vmware-x.y
   directory to run SAGE.

I do not have a file called sage_vmx. I have lots of files like
"sage-vmware-4.4" and SWAP and "vmware-0" and a directory
called appListCache.

What do I do? (or, better, please point me to a README for
windows newbies).

Thanks again

Robin
