I have been using SAGE on my iPod Touch lately and find very useful.
The only problem I have had is viewing 3D plots as SAGE uses a java
applet to render such plots. Safari on the iPod Touch does not
support the jre. Is there anyway around this?

No. The version there is exactly the same as the non-iphone version.
I certainly wanted to make a special iPhone version, but haven't had
time.
I just tested it and sagenb.org works
fine on my iphone.
