Hi, We are computing Galois groups of number fields, and we would like to treat these group elements as field automorphisms. Using the galois_group(type="pari")---we get the Pari group. However, when we use galois_group(), we get an error message. This is new--a few weeks ago, we obtained the Galois group as a permutation group and then used as_hom to get the elements displayed as automorphisms.
Is there a way for us to get SAGE to give us the elements of the Gal group of a number field as automorphisms?
