I don't think that's possible currently unless you change the code. The
idea is that once you change the inputs, the output no longer reflects
the input until you evaluate again.
I agree that sometimes (maybe most of the time?) it is valuable to see
the output while editing the input. I imagine that a better way to
handle the problem above is to make the output cell have a red bar or
something, like unevaluated cells do.
Patches are welcome, of course :).
