Dear all,

I've just tried to compile 4.4.1 on my laptop. It is Thinkpad T60:

-----------------
t60[~]$ infobash -v3
Host/Kernel/OS "t60" running Linux 2.6.33-3.slh.5-sidux-686 i686
[ sidux 2009-02 Αιθήρ - kde-lite - (200907141544) ]
CPU Info (1) Genuine Intel T2500 @ 2048 KB cache flags( sse3 ht
nx vmx ) clocked at [ 1000.000 MHz ]
                (2) Genuine Intel T2500 @ 2048 KB cache flags( sse3 ht

Videocard ATI Radeon Mobility X1400 X.Org 1.7.6.901
[ 1400x1...@60.0hz ]
Network cards Intel 82573L Gigabit
                Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG [Golan]
Processes 158 | Uptime 48min | Memory 713.7/3041.2MB | HDD ST910021AS
Size 100GB (46%used) | GLX Renderer Mesa DRI R300 (RV515 7145)
20090101 x86/MMX/SSE2 TCL | GLX Version 1.5 Mesa 7.7.1 | Client Shell
| Infobash v3.31
-----------------

I left it to run overnight, but after 12 hours, it was not finished.
I had tried once before (recently), and the laptop crashed and I
suspected it overheated. So, this time I used only one core in the
compilation to see if that would help. In any event, is 12 hours
reasonable? I stopped the compilation at this point:

-----------------

Finding crossover point for small case algorithms:

TEST TA TB M N K alpha beta Time Mflop SpUp
====  ==  ==  ===  ===  ===  =====  =====  ======  =====  ====

   1 N N 80 10 10 1.0 1.0 1.45 768.7 1.00
   1 N N 80 10 10 1.0 1.0 1.48 749.5 0.98
   2 N N 80 750 750 1.0 1.0 1.09 1074.5 1.00

[continues like that for a while]

-----------------

I *think* I had compiled (much) older versions with this laptop in a
reasonable time before, so I was wondering if there is something going
on.

Also, how do I compile a binary for this laptop using a different
computer? Any pointers would be appreciated. (I miss the Debian
binaries...)

Thanks,

Luis
