Hello everyone, I'm new to sage ;-) we have two disjoint sets S1,S2 of size 168 in a field of order 3^6=729. We are looking for a univariate polynomial over this field mapping S1 onto S2. Of course Lagrange interpolation gives a polynomial with degree 167. But there are many choices for such polynomials: how could we obtain one of "small" degree using sage?
