Also, Bill Cauchois was working on adding a general coordinate
transformation argument to plot3d, based on our discussions about
spherical and cylindrical plotting. He worked on this a lot at the
Sage
Days last week. I'm not sure when he'll submit a patch. I hope he

soon, since I'd really like to use it in my class in February or
March!
