Thanks. I've created this ticket: http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/7783 Note that plotting works fine in the notebook on OS X 10.6 for me. Plotting also works fine for me from the command line in sage-4.2.1, but of course not with sage-4.3.
