I want to run Sage on our 8-CPU, 64-bit Scientific Linux 4.8 machine. Yet there seems to be no 64-bit version of Sage specifically for Scientific Linux. What there is: Debian GNU, Ubuntu, openSUSE, Mandriva and three versions of Fedora.
Not sure how to proceed. Will any of these run OK on Scientific Linux? Is one better than another? Thoughts/experience?
