I am trying to do a partial fraction expansion as follows

k=10
T=0.1

G=k*((2*T-1+exp(-2*T))*z+1-exp(-2*T)-2*T*exp(-2*T))/(z-1)/(z-exp(-2*T))
theta_a=G*theta_c

theta_a.partial_fraction(z)

sage returns the following error traceback:

If I enter this directly into Maxima I get the expected result:
