open suse probably doesn't have them. e.g. there is cvxopt for debian/
ubuntu.

func designer could be part of openopt. depends if version 0.24 has
it. otherwise it's not there. you can go to the openopt website and
get 0.25 http://openopt.org/Install [and we should update our
spkg ... ]
