I started the sage virtual machine (4.1.1) using the VMware player (2.5.3) and it seemed to start fine. I can get to the sage login prompt and type "notebook". I see a message to start firefox with a local ip address and that it may take 10 seconds to start the server. After about 10 seconds, however, the screen clears and goes back to the original login prompt. There is no error on the screen, no other message, it just restarts. This happens if I type "sage" at the prompt as well. The only thing I could find in the vmware.log file that looked suspicious was the following line: DecoderIsInvalidInstruction:686 0xb763dc1c #UD 60e04ddb sz=3 ct=0. I'm new to sage so any help would be appreciated! Thank you...
