William and I talked about this a while back, and basically agreed that it would be best to rewrite most of the vector classes as a *very* light wrapper around matrices of size 1xn or nx1. This is one of the projects I'm planning on taking care of in the Fall, so if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, please pipe in!
