The commands above did not run for lack of path info such as
"SAGE_ROOT"
Processors?
I have an AMD  Athlon 64 FX51 CPU in my desktop XP system with VMWare
Player.

I also tried this on VMware server running an Intel Xeon CPU on a
Windows Server 2003 box with VMware server installed.
