Hi,

In IRC when nobody was looking, somebody asked:

04:54 < xxx> stupid question: the mathematica interface of sage will open
                 _many_ instances of mathematica. unfortunately
our institute has a network license for only 4
copies. is it possible to force SAGE to use just one
                 mathematica instance?

The answer is that "no" that is not currently supported, but it would be
quite easy to actually implement. Nobody has asked about this before
so we haven't tried to design something like that. Any ideas about
how we could do this? It would be complicated, but seems possible.
