Understanding how json and http requests work is probably the first thing to learn. There are some examples of using the protocol given in the top of the file (see the link from the other email). The examples start with "sage: ". Again, please make sure you understand about the (sometimes subtle) security issues before hosting a calculation engine open to the world.
