Hi William,

Thanks for your help. The browser window that automatically opens is set 
to the same address that I use to connect to the notebook from the 
remote computer, so this seems to be OK.
I just noticed that I was logged in as admin on the local machine, while 
I accessed the notebook as a different user from the remote machine. 
After logging in as the owner of the worksheet and adding admin to the 
list of collaborators, I was able to do computations as admin. Is this a 
feature that admin can only view but not change worksheets that are 
owned by other users?
