Part of the problem might be that I build the intel os x 10.5 binary on a 10.5 machine, not a 10.5.2 machine. I just upgraded the machine a few hours ago to 10.5.2, so I can try building a new binary for you and see if that works. I'll write another email to this thread when it is posted.
