Hi,
I followed your instructions and now I have the zipped install.log ready to send but I'm not sure if I should send it to you or to this group (it's a 350 KB file). Anyway, you will find below the last lines of install.log. As it seems an error occurred during the generation of Singular. Thanks, ---Fausto ranlib libsingfac.a ./mkinstalldirs /home/fausto/sage-2.8/local/include ./mkinstalldirs /home/fausto/sage-2.8/local/lib ./install-sh -c -m 644 factor.h /home/fausto/sage-2.8/local/include ./install-sh -c libsingfac.a /home/fausto/sage-2.8/local/lib ranlib /home/fausto/sage-2.8/local/lib/libsingfac.a make[4]: Leaving directory `/home/fausto/sage-2.8/spkg/build/ singular-3-0-3-20070809/src/libfac' make install in kernel make[4]: Entering directory `/home/fausto/sage-2.8/spkg/build/ singular-3-0-3-20070809/src/kernel' echo "#define feVersionId0 " `date '+%Y%m%d%H'` >kversion.h make[4]: *** No rule to make target `clapconv.o', needed by `libkernel.a'.
