My ability to import scipy is hit and miss. Sometimes it works but often it does not. I can't seem a pattern to it. I am using the same notebook work sheet each time. Here is the worksheet commands:
import scipy from scipy import optimize optimize.fmin? Some times the help text for fmin appears as it should but other times I get "No object optimize.fmin defined". I haven't change anything and am clueless. I am using sage 2.7 with firefox on a win 2000 machine.
