About my problem below:

Copying /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/Crypto to
/usr/local/sage-1.5.0.2/local/lib/python2.5/site-packages/ *seems* to
have fixed it (I can run some basic commands in sage without problems
now), but remains the question why did Sage install it in the former?
