R.<x,y> = PolynomialRing(ZZ,2) F=factor(x^2-y^2) e.g. gives exception "unable to start singular" Manual says will be slow - do I in fact have to go the singular website and download? (I'm using CYGWIN without source loaded) Many thanks - PT
