Hi all!

I'll be teaching a masters module on computational commutative algebra
next semester, and of course I plan to use Sage.

I am now seeking some advice for setting up a notebook server for my
students. I found http://wiki.sagemath.org/SageServer and
http://wiki.sagemath.org/SageVirtualBox. Are there further resources
that will teach me how to set up a server? Is Virtual Box relevant if
one has a linux machine?

I plan to use a machine of the following specifications:
 Linux 2.6.26-2-amd64 (Debian GNU/Linux 5.0)
 8 times Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5440 @ 2.83GHz
 MemTotal: 16472532 kB

Do you think this is enough for 5 to 10 students?

Best regards,
Simon
