While at MathFest 2010, I'm speaking as part of the "Issues for Early Career Mathematicians in Academia" panel which takes place on Friday, August 6 at 4:00--5:20 in the Monongahela room. I have no idea when I'll be speaking during that time block, but my portion will last for 20 minutes (15 minutes + 5 minutes for questions). The question I was asked to address is: "how should early career mathematicians think about technology (and the latest technological innovations)?" For the most part, my talk will consist of a technology appetizer sampler and one of the things that I will discuss is Sage. I'll also discuss Lurch (http://lurch.sourceforge.net/), Wolfram|Alpha, and a few other things.
