Sphinx can also use jsmath to format tex. I think we use images by default for some reason.


Dana, in addition to Rob's work on this over the next while, you probably saw the sage-devel post about the NSF CCLI proposal we are submitting to make the process of converting latex notes/books to Sage worksheets much better. We are really, really appreciative of any feedback on this. If this grant is awarded, there will be a huge push in the ability to integrate textbooks/notes with Sage worksheets over the next few years. So maybe one thing you can do is to critique the proposal to make it better :). The deadline is next week, so we are wrapping things up this week.
