Well, it looks like I may get the Calculus Lab using Sage, complementing my AP Calculus BC class, in the Spring semester as an every day class as opposed to a Lab every other day starting now as originally planned. Also, you may be interested in the fact that my topic for presentations at conferences this year will be "Look Ma, No Calculator." This talk will be about teaching and learning Mathematics in the 21st century with technology. A large part of this talk will be about using Computer Algebra Systems, especially Sage! I am invited to speak at several mathematics related conferences each year - so I make up a new topic to speak about each year. I'm already booked for Staff Development Day at Baldwin SHS in November and for LIMACON (Long Island MAth CONference) at SUNY Old Westbury in April. Wish me luck! See my website, listed below, for more info on my blog. Regards, A. Jorge Garcia _http://calcpage.tripod.com_ (http://calcpage.tripod.com/)
