Well, I do a lot on that machine.  I have servers running alpha
versions and patched versions for testing and development, and others
for students, and others where I want lower security/more
flexability...lots of reasons.  For my graduate students I want long
uptimes/same version, for my own use I want to be more on the bleeding
edge.  Sometimes I use port numbers that correspond to the classes I'm
teaching it make it easier to remember.
