Hi, A week ago, I posted an error log that resulted when I tried compiling with Catalina. After a week of experimentation, I learned that at least for me, configuring with --system-libpng=no solved the problem. I think that the problem occurred in the compilation of libgd, but I'm not sure. Of course, anyone with a different set of libraries in /usr/local/lib might come up with a different problem and solution.
One other point: at least for me, the result of ? euler_gamma is not good: Nearly all expressions are created by calling new_Expression_from_*, but we need to make sure this at least does not leave self._gobj uninitialized and segfault. I'm not sure if this shows that there is still a subtle problem with my installation, or if there's a tiny error in the documentation.
