Sounds like you are using the command-line version. I’m trying out the “.app” version that sticks an icon in the menu bar, and lets you start terminal or notebook sessions from that menu. This is where I am having the problem (starting from this menu). As an aside, it appears that all the sage versions preceding 8.5 have been removed from sagemath.org sites that i’ve checked (UW, MIT, and XMission). Is that deliberate? Justin -- Justin C.
