It looks like GCC 4.9.3 won't build with GCC 6.2 (probably due to an 
increase in compiler strictness or something). The reason Sage is building 
its own copy of GCC that is you need to have the same versions for gcc, 
gfortran, and g++. Partial builds with different compilers seems like 
trouble to me, so running "make distclean && make" after installing gfortan 
6.2 seems like the correct thing to do.
