Older Versions
Legacy versions of CentOS are no longer supported. For historical purposes, 
CentOS keeps an archive of older versions. If you’re absolutely sure you 
need an older version then click here » <http://wiki.centos.org/Download> 

On the other hand,  6.7 does have EoL Nov 2020. I presume RH backports 
whatever is needed from Python, etc, to keep it running. On the other hand 
they definitely provide Python 2.7 packages, as well, see
http://vault.centos.org/6.7/sclo/Source/rh/python27/
