but doing gap._eval_using_file_cutoff = 100000 then the above works fine. (See https://cloud.sagemath.com/projects/4a5f0542-5873-4eed-a85c-a18c706e8bcd/files/support/2016-03-03-gap-big-output.sagews). The gap pexpect interface using a file for performance reasons when the input is large. However, evidently Print output doesn't get captured anymore. So... what should we do GAP experts? We could just change the gap interface to never use _eval_using_file.
