Really? If the information was accurate and complete it would surely be good to have -- original implementer and any one else who did anything non-trivial (e.g. bug fix or improved algorithm). Just because Sage is open source does not mean that contributors should not get credit for their work. Or perhaps I have misunderstood this additional suggestion (not the main topic of the thread anyway)?
