I'm having a problem connecting my ssh key to my Trac account. I first tried linking my key manually. I generated a ssh key and copied the key to my trac account and saved. Note,Is the first part of the ssh-rsa part needed for the ssh key?
What is "the first part". Your key should start with "ssh-rsa" then followed by a long list of numbers and characters.
when I typed ssh g...@trac.sagemath.org info the terminal asked me for the password to g...@trac.sagemath.org . I entered in my trac password or my math cloud password neither worked.
There is no password to type other than the one of your ssh key (if any).
I then deleted the key I had on my Trac account and typed in dev. upload_ssh_key() . Yet ,when I pressed enter no words showed up and I just got a > . Can someone please clarify my problem an help connect my ssh key to the sage Trac server?
Did you follow the instruction at http://doc.sagemath.org/html/en/developer/trac.html#manually-generating-your-ssh-keys and http://doc.sagemath.org/html/en/developer/trac.html#manually-linking-your-public-key-to-your-trac-account Vincent -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sage-devel" group.
