Tons of room on a new install, not readonly (make did build the second time), probably enough file descriptors since not much open at the time. I almost always shut down in between sessions. On the other hand, I have an Intel ssd 520 which was replaced by Intel for malfunctioning under windows 8.1. So far with this new drive I haven't noticed any issues under Linux. I should check for that. --
