The following does not do what you hope, but does raise a semi-informative error:
CP = Posets.IntegerCompositions(5) C = LatticePoset(CP) C([1, 1, 1, 2]) Traceback (click to the left of this block for traceback) ... TypeError: unhashable type: 'list' The following accomplishes what you perhaps expected: CP = Posets.IntegerCompositions(5) C = LatticePoset(CP) P = C.an_element().parent() P([1, 1, 1, 2]) [1, 1, 1, 2] Am I missing something?
