On two different machines (Ubuntu 14.04 and Ubuntu 12.04), I get the error
Error installing package gcc-4.9.2.p1: configure: error: in `/local/sage/sage-6.7/local/var/tmp/sage/build/gcc-4.9.2.p1 /gcc-build': configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables See `config.log' for more details. This was in a parallel build; I'll try a serial build and put the 10 MB logfile somewhere later on. On both machines, 6.7.rc0 had compiled without problems.
