Not the first time it is reported. I have a fix I gave to someone some months ago but forgot to open a ticket to get it fixed in sage. It is fixed in Gentoo https://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/sci-mathematics/flint/files/flint-2.4.4-test.patch?view=markup is what you want.
