I just checked out develop and built it, without any trouble, EXCEPT, that
the documentation isn't typeset properly.
I am using Firefox 37.0.1 on kubuntu 14.04.
I do not have this problem with sage 6.5 on this machine.
Mathjax (I think) briefly displays a warning, which ends with
File failed to load: file://..._static/FONTS/HTML-CSS/TeX/png/imagedata.js
(very hard to see, because it disappears again...)
The LaTeX is output verbatim, that is, there are not the usual red error
boxes. Also, hovering over it, the mathjax configuration box does not
appear. For example, in
file:///home/martin/sage-develop/src/doc/output/html/en/reference/algebras/sage/algebras/weyl_algebra.html
I see:
Let \(R\) be a commutative ring. The (differential) Weyl algebra \(W\)
is the algebra generated by \(x_1, x_2, \ldots x_n, \partial_{x_1},
\partial_{x_2}, \ldots, \partial_{x_n}\) subject to the relations: \([x_i,
x_j] = 0\), \([\partial_{x_i}, \partial_{x_j}] = 0\), and \(\partial_{x_i}
x_j = x_j \partial_{x_i} + \delta_{ij}\). Therefore \(\partial_{x_i}\) is
acting as the partial differential operator on \(x_i\).
