Actually you can ref from the thematic tutorial back to the reference manual, and there already are many (not enough!!!) such links: /opt/sage/src/doc/en/thematic_tutorials>grep :meth: **/*.rst coercion_and_categories.rst::meth:`~sage.categories.commutative_additive_monoids.CommutativeAdditiveMonoids.ParentMethods.sum`:: coercion_and_categories.rst:- One can use :meth:`sage.structure.parent.Parent.register_coercion`, normally ... The converse indeed does not work at this point and I totally agree that this is very annoying. As for the general theme of this thread: +1111 to having many more crosslinks.
