Could you try
$ ./sage --sh
$ mkdir trace
$ strace -ff -o trace/sage -s 256 sage -c "gp('2+3')"And send the whole resulting directory "trace".(in case you execute strace multiple times, don't forget to clear the trace/ directory!)
