By the way, when reading the names sage gives to various implemented 
things, you should always realise that they are abbreviations.

PowerSeriesRing is an abbreviation for 
ComputableModelOfAPowerSeriesRingCheckDocumentationForDetailsAndOptions.

The lack of transitivity of equality in sage does bother me at times. But 
I'm not sure that's one of the cases that bothers me. The semantics are 
quite useful in practice.
