I was trying to build sage on the new Samsung Chromebook 2. I am using crouton with Ubuntu 12.04. I tried to build Sage in the home folder of my chroot(?). I attached the log file described below:
************************************************************************ Error installing package atlas-3.10.1.20140210 ************************************************************************ Please email sage-devel (http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel) explaining the problem and including the relevant part of the log file /home/NAME/sage-6.2/logs/pkgs/atlas-3.10.1.20140210.log Describe your computer, operating system, etc. If you want to try to fix the problem yourself, *don't* just cd to /home/NAME/sage-6.2/local/var/tmp/sage/build/atlas-3.10.1.20140210 and type 'make' or whatever is appropriate. Instead, the following commands setup all environment variables correctly and load a subshell for you to debug the error: (cd '/home/NAME/sage-6.2/local/var/tmp/sage/build/atlas-3.10.1.20140210' && '/home/NAME/sage-6.2/sage' --sh) When you are done debugging, you can type "exit" to leave the subshell. ************************************************************************ Since I am uncertain which part is "relevant", and since I enjoyed all of it, I just attached the whole thing. Let me know if this isn't right. Thank you so much for your help. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sage-devel" group.
