If we want to go on supporting sparc/solaris, it would be nice to have some r/decent hardware (same for ppc/POWER7 by the way). I had access to a T2+ until recently, but it seems the admin decided I was using too much CPU and I cannot use it anymore. I don't know what kind of hardware the skynet machine have. It seems GMP is putting some effort for T4/T5: https://gmplib.org/devel/sparc.html
